The precious blends of the “Ananda Astral” line are a combination of honey, herbs, powders of precious woods, spices, resins and natural oils. The preparation of the masala dough is performed as it was centuries ago, following ancient Vedic traditions, the phases of the moon, the movement of the Sun, of the planets and with many other precautions.
Each incense is handmade without chemical perfumes and mineral cutting oils. The ingredients are mixed together at various times, during the preparation the masala is kept in terracotta containers and, after about 15 days, the dough is ready to be rolled by hand on bamboo sticks.
Drying lasts about a week and during these days the sticks are continuously turned, in order to obtain a homogeneous drying. Once dried, the sticks are immediately bagged in aroma-saving sachets that will preserve their fragrance unaltered until their use.
The fragrance of nag champa (frangipani) buds aids calmness, concentration, meditation and introspection.
